Usage
This template formats citations to released video games.
It should normally be placed inside a reference tag:

This produces a citation identifying the game and the specific location of the information.
Parameters
- game
- The title of the game.
- title
- Alternative to
game.
- section
- The specific mission, scene, recording, database entry, case file, location, or other identifiable part of the game.
- speaker
- The character speaking when citing dialogue.
- platform
- The platform used, when relevant.
- version
- The game version or patch, when relevant.
- developer
- The game's developer.
- publisher
- The game's publisher.
- date
- The release year or more specific publication date.
